Creator terms
Last updated 19 October 2026.
These terms are between you, the person or business who made the tool, and Vennado, operated by Sycamore Healthworks Ltd, a company registered in Scotland (SC886987). They apply when you submit a tool on vennado.com/sell and for as long as we list it.
What we list
We review every tool before it goes on sale, and we decide whether to list it. A tool must:
- run entirely in the browser, as static HTML, CSS and JavaScript, with no server of its own and no accounts;
- live in a public GitHub repo that you control;
- collect nothing: no analytics, advertising, trackers or requests that send what people enter anywhere;
- be accessible: usable with a keyboard and a screen reader, readable at phone width, with clear contrast;
- have an honest price: one price, paid once and shown before anyone starts, with no nagging or false urgency;
- do one job well.
We may ask for changes before listing a tool, and we review significant updates before they go live.
Your code stays yours
You keep ownership of your code, its name and everything else you made. You give Vennado a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free licence to host, copy, run and sell access to the tool, to make the changes needed to host it and take payment (such as adding the unlock and security headers), and to use its name, description and screenshots to promote it. The licence lasts while the tool is listed and for the run-off period described below.
Your repo is public, and any open source licence you have chosen still applies to everyone. These terms do not change that.
What you promise
- You wrote the code, or have the right to license it to us, including any libraries, fonts and images it uses.
- The tool does not infringe anyone else's rights and contains nothing harmful.
- You will tell us promptly about any security problem, and fix faults within a reasonable time.
Price and payment
You propose the price and we agree it with you. Prices are shown including VAT. Vennado sells the tool to buyers and takes payment through Stripe Managed Payments, with Stripe acting as merchant of record, so VAT, receipts, refunds and disputes are handled for you.
Your share
You receive 80 percent of net revenue from your tool. Net revenue is what buyers paid for it, less VAT and other sales taxes, Stripe's payment and Managed Payments fees, refunds and chargebacks.
We pay monthly by bank transfer, by the 15th of each month, for the previous calendar month, with a statement of sales. If less than £10 is owed, we carry it over to the next month. A refund or chargeback after a payout is taken off the next one. You are responsible for any tax on what we pay you.
Refunds and buyers
Buyers can get refunds under our refund policy. We answer payment and refund questions. We pass on questions about how the tool works, and you answer them within a reasonable time.
Delisting
We can delist a tool that breaks the criteria above or these terms, that has a security problem, or that we receive a credible legal complaint about. We will tell you why, and where the problem can be fixed we will give you a chance to fix it first, unless buyers are at risk.
Ending
Either of us can end this agreement for a tool with 30 days' notice by email. We pay what you are owed up to the end date with the next monthly payout. Because our buyer terms promise 90 days' notice before a tool is withdrawn, people who have already bought the tool can keep using it for up to 90 days after the listing ends.
Liability
Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law. Otherwise, each side's liability to the other is limited to the amount Vennado paid you in the 12 months before the claim.
Changes
We will give you at least 30 days' notice by email of any change to these terms. If you do not agree, you can end the agreement before the change takes effect.
Governing law
Scots law applies, and the courts of Scotland have jurisdiction.
