The short version

The tools keep your work on your device. We do not see your reports, photos, menus or booklets. The only personal data we handle is what is needed to take a payment and answer your messages.

What stays on your device

Everything you type or photograph in a tool is saved in your browser's local storage (IndexedDB and localStorage) and never sent to us. Our servers log ordinary web requests (IP address, page, time, browser type) for security and to count visits; these logs are kept by our hosting provider, Cloudflare, for a short period.

Payments

Checkout is run by Stripe as merchant of record. Stripe collects your email, billing address and payment details under its own privacy policy. We receive from Stripe the fact that a payment was made, the amount, the country, and a session reference. We do not receive your card details. We keep the payment record for as long as tax and accounting law requires.

The unlock token

After a purchase, a small signed token is stored in your browser so the tool knows it is unlocked. It contains the tool name and the Stripe session reference, nothing else.

Messages

If you email us or use the contact form, we keep the message to answer it and for up to two years afterwards. Contact form messages are stored on our Cloudflare account.

Cookies and tracking

We do not use advertising or third-party analytics cookies. Fonts are loaded from Google Fonts, which sees your IP address when the page loads.

You can ask what we hold about you, ask us to correct or delete it, or complain to the Information Commissioner's Office. Write to hello@vennado.com.
